Love of Humanity: Camp Philanthropy at Kutz

Kutz 5 Small

The URJ Kutz Camp is delighted to have been selected to participate in the prestigious Jewish Teen Funder’s Network (JTFN) Camp Philanthropy Program for the summer of 2013. Tobe run as a session long Minor, the Camp Philanthropy Program will allow teens to learn about local non-profit organizations, fundraise matching dollars to those contributed by the JTFN, and allocate monies based on research and consensus. “We are so excited about elevating this program in camp, and finding meaningful ways for our teens to take life lessons about philanthropy home with them to their congregations and throughout their lives,” said camp director Melissa Frey. “The JTFN is doing great things, and we are thrilled to be on board with them!”.
